Collegiate Day of Prayer
Baylor University is hosting the 2024 Collegiate Day of Prayer, an evening worship and prayer service traditionally held on a college campus and live-streamed around the world. Although the event is free, a ticket is required for admission to the service at historic Waco Hall on Thursday, February 29 at 7:00pm. Students may obtain tickets through Baylor campus ministries or participating local church college ministries. All other members of the Baylor community are encouraged to participate via live stream.
The Collegiate Day of Prayer began in 1823 as the Concert of Prayer for Colleges and Universities, and today it continues to challenge believers to stand together and pray as a united and multi-generational expression of the church. An interdenominational movement, the Collegiate Day of Prayer has been warmly embraced and promoted by almost every major university and denomination in America. It operates as a coalition of collegiate ministries and church networks and is led by a representative steering team of these partner organizations who call on Christians from around the world to pray for spiritual awakening on college campuses and among college-aged students.
A clear bag policy is in effect at Waco Hall. More information can be found in the "Visitor Information" section on the Waco Hall website.
