Dear Team Leaders,
All Baylor Missions teams are led by dedicated & passionate Faculty & Staff.
Thank you so much for giving of your time and energy in order to lead amd inspire a team of students on a discipline-specific mission trip. We are so grateful for you.
We are honored to partner with you to create an once-in-a-lifetime missions experience! We do not take it for granted that you will sacrifice time, energy, and resources to take on this endeavor. Our team at Baylor Missions commits to you to do the same.
In the weeks and months ahead we will have many opportunities to plan, pray, and prepare together. We encourage you to take full advantage of those opportunities and all available resources from Baylor Missions. One valuable resource is digital content in this section of our site and our team leader’s manual. We have combined our collective knowledge and experience with outside sources to provide you with a "go to" guide as you plan and implement your trip.
We are here to serve you as we all serve our students. We want you to be successful and feel empowered!
Please know that we are praying for you as you prepare and lead students on this life-changing adventure. It is our hope that the students on your team not only enjoy the experience, but also discover a sense of vocation and calling as they see first-hand how they can use their skills and passions to serve around world.
-Rebecca A Kennedy, MBA, Assistant Dean for Spiritual Life & Missions Baylor University

Helpful Information & Resources
The following resources will be contain helpful information that you will need to finalize your trip itinerary:
- Trip Proposal
- Working Itinerary
- Unlike the proposal, the final itinerary needs to be a DETAILED view of your trip schedule. Do you have to have every minute of every day figured out? No. We understand that you have to have flexibility and that dates/activities may change. However, your partners, locations, and destination cities must not.
- If a location is NOT on your final itinerary, then you do not have Baylor's permission to go there (ex. If you said you are only going to locations in southern Kenya, but end up taking a day trip near the border of South Sudan where there is safety issues, we have not approved that…so don't go!).
- Contact Information for your ministry partners (phone numbers, websites & emails for sure!) This will be used in case of emergencies as well as for us to track our global partners.
Baylor Missions & Emergency/Risk Management will review and include a copy in your team leader notebook.
