Steppin' Out
Twice per academic year, once in the fall and once in the spring, thousands of Baylor students step out together to serve the Waco community. This massive day of service gives individuals and groups the opportunity to help out our neighbors all throughout the greater Waco area. Click here to learn more about Steppin' Out.
MLK Week of Service
Every year during the week of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Department of Missions, Service & Public Life sponsors a week of service. In January of 2023, we partnered with Unbound Now Waco, which supports survivors and resources the community to fight human trafficking. Over the course of the week, the university came together to collect supplies to create Survivor Care Kits. Stay tuned to hear about 2024's MLK Week of Service.
Freerice Competition
Freerice is a free online trivia game where each correct answer raises money for the UN World Food Program. Each year, Baylor enters into a friendly competition with other universities to see which student body can generate the most revenue for the program.
