Serve Alongside the Baylor Family
There are multiple opportunities throughout the year to engage in local service with the entire university. Service events open to everyone on campus are great ways to give back to the community.
Steppin' Out Day of Service
Twice per academic year, once in the fall and once in the spring, thousands of Baylor students step out together to serve the Waco community. This massive day of service gives individuals and groups the opportunity to help out our neighbors all throughout the greater Waco area.
Disaster Relief Kit Packing Days
When the need arises, the Baylor community prepares disaster relief kits for our neighbors near and far. BearAid Disaster Relief invites volunteers from across the university, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni, to come together and pack supplies needed by those impacted by disaster. Recent kit packing days occurred over the summer of 2025 after the central Texas floods, and fall 2024 for east coast hurricanes Helene and Milton.
