Mission Trip - CURE BU in the Philippines

Pre-health and allied health students will be traveling to the Philippines in May of 2024 to work with CURE BU's partner, Philippine Nurses Association. Team members will have the opportunity to shadow a variety of local health professionals and learn more about the Filipino healthcare system. They'll also be working with a local orphanage/adoption center to minister to the abandoned children that live there. Finally, this visit includes an immersion experience in Villa Escudero which will give students a glimpse into the Filipino culture they are visiting.

Because of the heavy medical nature of this visit, only students majoring in pre-health and allied health (Pre-Med, Pre-PA, Pre-PT, Pre-Dental, Pre-Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences, etc) will be considered.

We hope that students will develop an understanding of the cultural and economic differences present in healthcare around the world and gain an appreciation for the ways that they can use their medical expertise to impact others for Christ through service to their patients.
