Mission Trip - Pre-PA Society in Uganda

Members of the Pre-PA Society will be traveling to Uganda during May 2024 to work with BU Missions' partner, One More Child. Students will have the opportunity to shadow and learn from local doctors and assist with ongoing projects that One More Child has already established in the community. These projects include a food ministry that feeds between 600 and 800 children daily, Bible studies and conferences for local women and men, and supply distributions to people around the community with lower incomes.

We hope that team members will develop a heart for medical missions and discover the impact of cultural and economic diversity in healthcare settings. By experiencing these, we hope that students grow in their understanding of their own calling to the medical field and develop a greater compassion for the needs of those they will work with.
